We extend a warm welcome and greeting to our KXRA listeners this morning.  Our service is broadcast each 1st Sunday of the month at 11:00 am.

Sunday School Topic of the Day:  We will be hearing about “Order in the Court” today in the Sunday School sessions.  Classes will convene right after the Children’s Message in the worship service.              –CE Board

Enhanced Giving for Enhanced Worship – In Memory!  We are moving further into the age of tech-nology with Phase I of the proposal for screens, mics and cameras prepared by our Technology Committee.  The first $5,020 of this project has been donated through monies received from memorials specified for this purpose.  To maintain this as an “In Memory” of our many members who
have left us this year, we invite you to contribute to the cause.  Enjoy the memory of a cup of coffee, or serving on a committee, or doing whatever, with one of our departed these last 18 months and donate the funds “In Memory.” Receipts for tax purposes are available!

Hey Gals and Guys!  Our Women’s Fellowship meeting on Thursday, April 5th, is a special one!  Evelyn Hovland’s son and his wife will be presenting the program on their two years of living in Jordan with the Peace Corps.  This program will be of interest to many and continues our “diversity discus-sion,” as 92% of the people of Jordan are Muslims.  It’s “Brown Bag Day,” so pack a sandwich and a spouse and/ or a special friend and come join us!  We will provide coffee and lemonade and FELLOWSHIP!
     –Kathryn L., for Women’s Fellowship

Note to All Committee Chairs!  The Annual Progammatic Meeting is soon coming up in May.  Copies of your last year’s report from the booklet are in your Church mailboxes to simplify preparing your current report.  Please turn your reports in to the Church office by Sunday, April 29th.  Thanks!                              -Barb, Church office

Our Angel Care Team co-contact persons for April are Evelyn Hovland (763-6824) and Jan Shogren (763-9700).  Thank you, Angels.

Ole and Lena’s Wedding Coming Soon!  Don’t be worried if you haven’t received your invitation to Ole and Lena’s wedding yet!!  Calm down.  Social etiquette decrees we have another week to issue those invites, so you still have a chance.  Some of you have been almost belligerent in wanting to be sure to receive one since you heard that there will be LEFSE, hot dish and red Jello served at the reception!!  In order to control the aggressiveness of the “social elite,” the AAAA will handle the ticket sales!!  The Handspringinnens (Lena’s folks) and the Olafssons (Ole’s parents) are really working to make this the event of the year and plead for your patience.  Just put the dates on your calendar May 4th & 5th evenings, and Sunday afternoon, May 6th.  I am sure you will get invited to one of the ceremonies!  -K. LeBrasseur, for Ole & Lena Comm.

Music Notes—Would you like to have your own personal copy of our old (blue or brown) “The Pilgrim Hymnal?”  Well, here’s your opportunity.  The Music Committee decided that since we do not use these hymnals in our Church anymore, we should try to find a new home for them.  So, we are first offering copies of them to our members.  We will put a box of the hymnals next to our mailboxes in the Church.  Please help yourself (one copy per family, please).  We have reserved two copies of this hymnal in our Library for reference.  Finally, if you know of a church, youth group, camp, etc., that could use some of these hymnals please let a Music Committee or Church Council member know.  Thanks!     -Gene Rose

From the Family of Bill Grove:  “Thank You to my Church family for all your prayers and kind words.  To the people who worked at preparing and serving the delicious lunch after the service, a grateful thanks.”  -With love, Sandy, Cathy & Bob, and Jim

My Thanks to Julie Hjelm for volunteering to cover the Church office so I can do Grandma Daycare in Prior Lake on Tuesday! -Barb, Church ofc
