PLEASE CONTINUE THE HABIT OF WEARING YOUR NAME LANYARDS found in your Church mailboxes and keep them on until after the fellowship time which is held on the main floor in the Plymouth Room. Then when you leave, just drop them in the basket provided near the serving table, and someone from the Membership Com-mittee will return them to your Church mailbox to be ready for you to wear the following Sunday. Thanks for continuing to wear your name tags.

Booklets will be available containing reports of the various committees and boards. A ballot will be presented and voted upon to formally elect our new Church officers for the coming fiscal year. ??? THE ANNUAL MEMORIAL DAY PANCAKE BREAKFAST takes place here tomorrow morning. Serving is from 8:30 am until noon. It’s a great time to bring your holiday guests for a great meal. Tickets are still available.. Barb Grover and Julie Hjelm have been in charge of all the arrangements.

OUR ANGELS responsible for visiting and delivering blankets to those hospitalized or grieving in May are: Carolyn Chlian (763-7409) and Cathy Johnson (763-3947). Thank you, Angels.

TAKE TWO, GIVE ONE AWAY. Our Membership Committee has provided bookmarks. Please take one for your-self and another to give to a friend. The bookmarks may be found on the
Visitors’ table at the back of the sanctuary where the visitor coffee mugs are located.

WATCH OUR WORSHIP SERVICE ON CHARTER CABLE CHANNEL 181. Charter Cable TV has updated their public access channel listing for our weekly Church service rebroadcast. We are now on Channel 181 at 9 am daily. Be sure to tune in to catch the service, and please do invite friends and family to watch. The most recent service is aired on Wednesday through the following week.

OUR BOUNTIFUL BASKET collection for the months of April and May is for our Alexandria Area High School Food Shelf. This program was started a few years ago by students for students on an “as needed” basis. Some sug-gestions for donations to the Basket are: cereals, spaghetti noodles & sauce, trail mix, peanut butter, wheat thins, baked beans, dry roasted peanuts, taco dinner kit, microwave popcorn, applesauce, body lotion, instant oatmeal, canned fruits and vegetables, granola bars, toilet paper, laundry soap, strawberry jam, Alfredo sauce, graham crackers, other general non-perishable items, and cash to fund the food shelf. Thank you for helping our students. –Missions Committee

GRADUATE RECOGNITION SUNDAY is scheduled for June 7th, during the worship service and the Choir will present some celebratory music. Then we’ll have a special reception in the lower level following the service at about 11:15, hosted by our CE Board. Please plan to celebrate this milestone with our students.

WANTED: Used paper again. I have almost exhausted the supply you generously provided in response to my last plea months ago. If you have any used paper with one clean side, I can use it for draft paper here in the Church office. Thanks. -Barb, Church office

MUSIC AND FLOWERS. Thanks to all who provided geraniums and to Roger & Mary Jo Hochsprung for their work in arranging all the flowers and making decorations for this special occasion. Some geraniums were purchased to be taken home, some for planting in the Church courtyard, and Barb Yager purchased several plants in memory of loved ones: Jessie & Elmer Watters, Cliff & Clara Watters, Betty Watters Romportl, John Yager, Michael Yager, and Stan Yager; and Linda & Leanne Namur in memory of Hop Namur.

SPONSOR U-STREAM FOR JUST $25. As of April 1st, we have had 1,800 people view us on U-stream, our Internet TV channel. We also have 17 regular followers who watch as well—snowbirds and homebound members who can’t get to worship and wish to stay connected to the Church they love. The cost to us as a Church for this service is $99 monthly, roughly $25 per Sunday. If you would like to underwrite a weekly broadcast in honor or memory of a loved one at $25, or for a month or more of broadcasts at a higher level, please contact Barb in the Church office. KXRA BROADCAST SPONSORSHIPS STILL AVAILABLE. As you may already know, our worship service is re-broadcast each 1st Sunday of the month at 11:00 am. We are thankful that so many of you have sponsored a monthly broadcast in memory of a loved one or to honor a special event. We have “openings” for the upcoming summer months of June and July if anyone is interested in sponsoring, partially or in full. The full price is $110, but some folks may like to share a particular date. Please contact the Church office if you’d be interested in this outreach opportunity. Thank you.
